At the end of 2013, Ford presented the new model generation of the Mustang, which was launched on the US market at the end of 2014 and was officially sold in Germany again from summer 2015[20]. Like its predecessor, the car was offered as a coupé (“Fastback”) and as a convertible (“Convertible”). In the first full year of sales in 2016, 5232 Ford Mustangs - of which 1973 were convertibles - were newly registered in Germany.
