Project Description
Megane
More info
The third version of the Renault Mégane has been on the market since November 29, 2008. The official presentation took place a month earlier at the Paris Motor Show.
The equipment includes the keycard hands-free function, an analog rev counter and a digital speedometer. The navigation system was initially based on Carminat 3, which was later replaced by the more cost-effective Carminat TomTom. Safety and environmental friendliness were also optimized.
The coupé has been available since January 23, 2009 and has an independent body. The three-door version is equipped with a sportier chassis (12 mm lower than the five-door model) and alloy wheels as standard.
Since June 21, 2009, there has also been a station wagon called Grandtour.
In November 2009, the R.S. sports version of the Mégane Coupé followed with a 2.0 16V turbo engine (TCe) producing 184 kW (250 hp). The manufacturer quotes a lap time of 8:08 minutes for the vehicle on the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
A new Coupé-Cabriolet completed the range on June 11, 2010 (source: Wikipedia).
